This was India’s second loss of the ongoing FIH Pro League season. The Indian hockey team lost their second leg match against Spain 5-3 in the Men’s FIH Pro League 2021-22 at the Kalinga Stadium in Bhubaneswar, Odisha on Sunday. Abhishek (6’), Harmanpreet Singh (27’) and Sukhjeet Singh (51’) scored the goals for India while Paul Cunill (14’, 24’), Joan Tarres (14’), Pepe Cunill (54’) and Marc Miralles (59’) were scorers for Spain. The boxing trials have been spread across four months to give Indian boxers more time to prepare. The Boxing Federation of India (BFI) has announced trials to select the squads for this year’s Asian Games, the Commonwealth Games and the women’s world championships. The selection trials for three upcoming big-ticket events will be spread out from March to June, giving elite boxers more time to prepare.
