India finished third at the Commonwealth Games 2018, with a medal count of 66 – their third-highest ever. Table tennis star Manika Batra alone bagged four medals. India’s medal tally at the Commonwealth Games (CWG) has risen sharply over the last two decades. CWG 2010 in New Delhi was India’s most fruitful edition with a total haul of 101 medals while the Commonwealth Games 2018 in Gold Coast, Australia, saw India’s best-ever finish as a non-host nation. Indian alpine skier  Mohammad Arif Khan finished 45th in the men’s giant slalom event at the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics on Sunday. Mohammad Arif Khan clocked 2:47.24 seconds – 1:22.35 in the first run and 1:24.89 in the second run – at the Yanqing National Alpine Skiing Centre.
